Outside Sales Rep

4D Systems is seeking a competitive part-time Outside Sales Representative to become part of our team!

The OSR will be responsible for growing our business through sales of our turn-key robotic automated systems. The ideal candidate MUST have experience in automation sales, including the requisite technical knowledge necessary to sell our systems. Having existing networks within the automation industry is also required. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of our turn-key automated systems.

This is a 100% commission based position. The position has the possibility to evolve to full-time based on performance.

Responsibilities:

“Get the sale” using various methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, etc.)
Evaluate customer’s specific needs and provide best solutions
Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest industry developments
Collaborate and communicate with management
Build productive and long lasting customer relationships
Leverage marketing techniques and act as brand ambassador

Qualifications:

Previous proven experience with automation sales
Track record of over-achieving quotas
Self-motivated and driven
Ability to build rapport with clients
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Positive and professional demeanor
Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
