We are currently looking to hire a full time Machine Builder for our growing Willoughby, Ohio location.

Responsibilities:

• Read and follow assembly, detail, and machine layout drawings for understanding of needed work
• Assemble and build machine sub-assemblies, mount mechanical components, install industrial devices, assemble and check fixturing, and build pneumatic air circuits on custom, turn-key machines
• Wire machines according to electrical schematics, making all connections between the electrical panels and field devices
• Identify issues during the build process and work with engineering to resolve
• Pre-test devices as they are assembled to verify proper functionality
• Safely operate a forklift to move heavy items
• Package equipment for shipment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a Machine Builder
• Experience wiring industrial automation equipment
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
• Must be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate pride in doing quality work
• Common knowledge of shop tools for drilling, tapping, milling
• General knowledge of precision measurement tools such as verniers and calipers
• Be willing to work independently and as part of a team working together

Experience:

• Machine Building: 3 years (Required)
• Industrial Automation Wiring: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Required)
